Atlanta Civil Rights Tour: Sunday, May 3 [Register]
For those in town Sunday, enjoy a bus tour of famous civil rights and Black history landmarks in Atlanta. The bus tour will last 3-4 hours, visiting the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the MLK Center. Sunday, May 3rd at 12 pm, Location: Leaving from and returning to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis Hotel. Admission: $45.

Coat/Luggage Storage Room

We will offer a coat/luggage storage room on Friday and Saturday. It will be unsupervised but is available for your convenience. It is imperative that alumni pick up all belongings on Saturday no later than 5:45p, immediately following closing remarks.

Meals and Beverages

On the Friday of the Summit, continental breakfast will be provided, while on Saturday, a hot breakfast will be provided. Lunch, mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are also provided on Friday and Saturday. Light appetizers, wine, beer, sweet tea and other non-alcoholic beverages will be served at the Thursday and Friday evening Receptions. A full cash bar with two drink tickets and light appetizers will be offered at the Saturday night Summit After Party.

Tickets to the Summit have SOLD OUT! Please email sbaanational@stanfordalumni.org to place yourself on the wait list.If additional spaces become available, alumni on the wait list will be offered the opportunity to purchase tickets at the regular admission price of $350.

Summit Assistance Fund
We are grateful to all who made contributions to the fund to support fellow alumni who might not have been able to attend without assistance. Assistance was awarded based on financial need. Applications are no longer being accepted for consideration.

Refund Policy
Summit registration fees may be refunded until February 1, 2015, with a cancellation fee of 15%. After February 1, 2015, Summit registrations may be transferred. Transfers will be allowed from February 1, 2015 to April 1, 2015. Priority for transfers will be given to wait list members (if any). Otherwise, each person is responsible for his or her own transfer.

Traveling to The 2015 Summit

Travelers should book flights into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Once at the airport, you may take the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) into downtown Atlanta. For $2.50 plus $1.00 for a “Breeze” card you can ride either the Red or Gold Line 7 stops to Peachtree Center. For more information on ground transport, visit here.

The Atlanta Marriott Marquis is two blocks from the Peachtree Center MARTA stop. The Loudermilk Center is another 5 blocks, or ½ mile, from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis ― a short walk or quick taxi ride. Free onsite parking will be available at the Loudermilk Center and complimentary shuttle service to and from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis to the Loudermilk will also be provided.
